Your Vote Counts: Support the First Step Job Training Program Today!

The Coalition needs your vote to win a $5,000 grant to support our First Step Job Training Program. First Step empowers homeless and formerly homeless women – many single moms and victims of domestic violence – to succeed in the workforce. Through computer and other hard skills training, internships and comprehensive supportive services we give women the tools to reach their goals and build a better life for themselves and their families.

Sponsored by Brookside Foods and GOOD Magazine, The Brookside Foods Giving Back Challenge honors local organizations moving the world forward and initiating positive change in the communities they serve. Voting will take place through Friday, December 9^th, with approximately 120 organizations competing for the grant award.
