Charitable Status
Coalition for the Homeless, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization registered with the Internal Revenue Service/Department of the Treasury.
Therefore, all donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. All donors receive an acknowledgment that includes a confirmation of their donation for their tax records.
The Coalition for the Homeless meets Better Business Bureau standards for charitable solicitations (as of the August 2001 review), and has received a four-star rating from Charity Navigator.
