Charitable Status
Coalition for the Homeless, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization registered with the Internal Revenue Service/Department of the Treasury.
Therefore, all donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. All donors receive an acknowledgment that includes a confirmation of their donation for their tax records.
The Coalition for the Homeless meets Better Business Bureau standards for charitable solicitations (as of the August 2001 review), and has received an "A" rating from the American Institute of Philanthropy.
