Special Auction for COVID-19 Relief

The Coalition for the Homeless hosted a Special Auction for COVID-19 Relief Wednesday, July 8  through Tuesday, July 14, 2020.

The funds raised by the auction supported the Coalition’s ongoing COVID-19 relief efforts for homeless New Yorkers.

The auction featured world renowned chefs and celebrities offering once in a lifetime digital experiences, including offerings by:

  • Ina Garten, chef, cookbook author and legendary television host
  • David Chang, restauranteur, author and founder of the Momofuku restaurant group
  • Andrew Rannells, Broadway and television actor
  • Kathleen Turner, award-winning film and stage actor
  • Ignacio Mattos, Michelin-starred chef and owner of Estela, Café Altro Paradiso and Flora Bar

The Coalition is continuing to distribute tens of thousands of emergency meals, surgical masks and bottles of hand sanitizer, as well as clothing, cell phones, cash grants and other essentials to help our homeless neighbors survive the crisis.
