Students from Shuang Wen P.S. 184 Raise over $300 for the Coalition!

Students at Shuang Wen School participated in a Penny Harvest fundraising effort to benefit the Coalition for the Homeless. Thanks to their dedication and hard work, they collected over $300 in coins to benefit the Coalition. The student Penny Harvest leaders (pictured) proudly wore their penny label pins and presented the Coalition with a check and flowers during the monthly Parents’ Association meeting. These inspiring young students spoke movingly about choosing an organization to end homelessness and the importance of giving back. Parent Natalie Cash spearheaded this effort and is deeply proud all the students’ participation.
