Ringing in the summer – the 2026 Soirée raises over $59k to support the Coalition for the Homeless

As evening fell over the sun-drenched Highlight Room on the Lower East Side, 90 compassionate New York professionals gathered to connect, cheer on the Knicks, and rally together to raise crucial funds for the Coalition for the Homeless and our 12 frontline programs. With support from the generous guests in the room, we raised over $59,000!

The 2026 Soirée

And we couldn’t have done it without our wonderful Junior Board, Ryan Adams, Rick Bohm, and Natsayi Mawere, who were instrumental in making sure the event was a success.

Some memorable moments from the evening include the refreshing signature cocktail, the PaHOMEa, made with Misguided Spirits tequila, sparkling grapefruit, and a splash of lime; the incredible DJ Gootz, who kept the energy up all night; as well as the phenomenal setting at Tao’s The Highlight Room, watching the sun fall over Manhattan, on the beautifully clear and warm night.

Coalition for the Homeless Executive Director Dave Giffen talked about how many New Yorkers are now homeless and how the actions of the federal government were making things worse. “I wish I could tell you that it’s going to get better, but the massive federal cuts to programs that provide food, healthcare, and housing to low-income people are going to be devastating. So we have our work cut out for us. But we’ve been doing this a long time, and we never give up. We turn away no one who needs our help.”

We extend our thanks to our sponsors Cravath, Swaine & Moore, and Paul Hastings, as well as Ruth Pryor, the Sullivan & Cromwell Foundation, Actum, David Dubner, and the Works of Leonard Rosenfeld LLC. We also appreciate our in-kind sponsors, Misguided Spirits, Halftone Spirits, Anne Fontaine, The Metropolitan Opera, and Tao for their generous gifts that made the night even more special.

As the Soirée continues to make its mark on New York City, we once again thank our Junior Board and all who attended and donated. We look forward to seeing you at the next one!
