New York City has a new record for homelessness among families. More than 36,000 people – including 15,000 children – will sleep in emergency shelters tonight. With your support, the Coalition feeds over 1,000 people each night on the streets, sends hundreds of children to our sleep-away camp each summer, and gives our homeless neighbors hope for the future through crisis services, job training and permanent housing. Your donation makes it possible for us to continue serving as a safety net for all who need our help.

The Coalition often accepts in-kind donations of new or gently used clothing, new toiletries/personal hygiene items or home furnishings that clients of Coalition for the Homeless might be able to use. Due to limited storage space, the Coalition is not always able to accept all donations. We will make every attempt to match your gift with a Coalition program, or if we are unable to do so, we will connect you with another appropriate charity organization.
