Cuomo is serious about solving homelessness, he will add 15,000 units of supportive housing in the city, increase state funding for homelessness prevention services and restore money previously cut from the shelter system, a new report claims. The report by the advocacy group Coalition for the Homeless also faults the governor for making cuts over the past years to rental subsidy programs.
