Mayor de Blasio Approves of Pol’s Plan to Address NYC’s Homeless Crisis

Mayor de Blasio has given a qualified thumbs up to a plan to address the homeless crisis that is gaining bipartisan support in the state Legislature.

Assemblyman Andrew Hevesi (D-Queens) has been pushing the Home Stability Support program that is intended to reduce reliance on homeless shelters by creating a new rent subsidy to keep people in their homes.
