Mayor Unveils $2.6B Supportive Housing Plan

I’m happy to see the City furthering its efforts to help more people who are without homes. It’s also reassuring to see the Mayor referring to the units he announced funding for today as “supportive housing.” This means that the City’s investment in these 15 thousand units over the next 15 years — will not only help put a roof over more people’s heads, but provide vulnerable New Yorkers with services to help them recover from substance abuse issues and mental illness.
