Officials are allowing homeless applicants to be considered with a credit score as low as 500 without further financial review. General applicants must score 580 or above to avoid the review. Homeless applicants, unlike other would-be renters, can also be considered for placement even if they have filed for bankruptcy two years prior to applying.
